Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data Duo Games collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data. This policy applies to all games within the Duo Games app, including Guess The Number and Crack The Code.
1. What We Collect
Duo Games collects minimal data necessary to operate the games: — Anonymous session IDs: A randomly generated identifier (UUID) is created on your device when you first launch the app. This is never linked to your name, email, or any personal identity. — Game room data: Room codes, secret numbers or codes, guesses, and game outcomes are temporarily stored in our database to power real-time multiplayer across both games. — Credits and purchase status: Your credit balance and Pro subscription status are stored anonymously against your session ID to persist across sessions. — Advertising ID: Our advertising partner (Appodeal) may access your device's advertising identifier for ad targeting, frequency capping, and fraud prevention. You can reset or limit this in your device settings. — No personal information: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personally identifiable information.
2. How We Use Data
Data collected is used solely to operate the games — matching players, syncing game state in real time, managing credits and subscriptions, and displaying ads. We do not use your data for profiling or sell it to third parties.
3. In-App Purchases
Duo Games offers optional in-app purchases including credit packs and a Pro monthly subscription, processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store your payment information. Purchase history is managed by RevenueCat on our behalf.
4. Data Retention
Game room data is stored temporarily in our Supabase database. Completed or abandoned rooms contain no personal information. Credit balances and Pro status are retained indefinitely against your anonymous session ID to preserve your progress. We may periodically clean up old room records.
5. Third-Party Services
Duo Games uses the following third-party services: — Supabase (supabase.com) — database and real-time communication. — RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) — in-app purchase management and subscription tracking. — Appodeal (appodeal.com) — ad mediation and delivery. Appodeal and its partners may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalisation. See Appodeal's privacy policy for details. — Google AdMob — ad network integrated via Appodeal. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
Duo Games uses AsyncStorage on your device to store your anonymous session ID and app preferences locally. This data never leaves your device except as described above.
7. Children's Privacy
Duo Games is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13. Since no personal information is collected from any user, there is no specific risk to minors.
8. Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal data linked to your identity, there is no personal profile to access, correct, or delete. If you have concerns about data stored in relation to a specific game session, contact us and we will assist you. You may opt out of personalised advertising by resetting your advertising ID in your device settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
