IMPOSTER
DRAWING

Everyone gets a word.
One player gets "Imposter".
Draw. Deceive. Vote.

How to Play

3 or 4 players join a room. Everyone receives a secret word — except the Imposter who only sees "Imposter".

Players take turns drawing using ink (12 seconds each). Each player draws in their own colour. The Imposter must blend in without knowing the word.

After 3 full rounds, a vote is automatically triggered. If the majority correctly identifies the Imposter, the players win. Otherwise the Imposter wins.

What is Imposter Drawing?

Imposter Drawing is a 3 to 4 player social deduction and drawing game. Every player receives the same secret word — except one player who is secretly assigned as the Imposter and only sees the word "Imposter". Players take turns drawing on a shared canvas using their allotted ink, each in their own colour.

The Imposter must observe the other players' drawings and try to blend in — drawing something plausible without knowing the actual word. The other players must draw clearly enough to communicate the word to each other without making it too obvious for the Imposter to copy.

After 3 full rounds of drawing, a vote is automatically triggered. Players vote on who they think the Imposter is. If the majority correctly identifies the Imposter, the players win. If the Imposter survives the vote, the Imposter wins.

Tips & Strategy

If you're the Imposter, watch what others draw in the first round before committing to anything. Draw something vague but plausible — abstract shapes or partial outlines are safer than a confident wrong guess. If you're a regular player, draw clearly but avoid making the word so obvious that the Imposter can immediately copy you.
