What is Guess The Number?
Guess The Number is a classic 2-player guessing game where each player picks a secret number between 1 and 100. Players take turns making guesses and receive higher or lower clues after each attempt. The first player to correctly guess their opponent's secret number wins the round.
The game is simple to learn but surprisingly strategic. Do you pick an obvious number like 50 to start? Or do you try to catch your opponent off guard with an unexpected choice? Every guess reveals information — not just to you, but to your opponent too.
Tips & Strategy
The optimal strategy is binary search — start at 50, then adjust by half the remaining range each time. But in a 2-player game your opponent can see your guesses too, so picking unusual numbers as your secret can throw them off. Avoid round numbers like 25, 50, 75 — they're the first ones most players guess.
